Clubhouse Rebuild Project

The old clubhouse was full of character; however, the original part was built in the 1920’s and in very poor condition, especially the roof and much of the woodwork. Also, because it had hardly any insulation it was expensive to heat during the winter months.

The new clubhouse has been designed so that the main room is big enough to accommodate meetings of large groups of people and indoor sporting activities such as table tennis and short mat.  Now with underfloor heating, plenty of natural light and a large space without the support pillars of the old building, it offers better facilities to the community such as toddler groups, the visually impaired, art group and others.  We also have a smaller side room that can be used for committee meetings and smaller gatherings.  Both rooms will have access to our bar.  We also have a fully functioning kitchen.

Photographs of the building project are in the slideshow are on the Clubhouse Rebuild tab.
